Pen Clique Pop-Up Poetry Gallery – All Day
Pen Clique Pop-Up Poetry Gallery is a conceptual pop-up art exhibit that fuses poetry with visual art. Twelve poets were selected from Pen Clique’s online network to submit short poems. These poems were then used as the main design element which graphic designers adapted into works of visual art, that will be exhibited at The Downtown Independent lobby.
SP!T “Spitting through Movement” – 9:00 PM
“Spitting through Movement” will feature renowned dance choreographer Kaity Martinez, who will share her creative and artistic insight to bring to life the Spoken Word Poems, by combining the power of words with the visually striking, and irreverent movement of interpretive dance.

Photolab Panama Photo Exhibition – All Day
Pop-up photo exhibition of award-winning work by Panamanian photographers as part of a partnership with Photolab Panama. We will be showcase photographs from 2019 winners Edilberto Ruiz, José Iván Vargas and Jenn Alessa.
